We typically arrive and start setting up between 4:30-5pm. For weddings, we'll be ready right after the wedding breakfast and speeches. For corporate and charity events, we ensure everything is set up and sound-checked before guests arrive. If you need us earlier, just let us know—an additional fee may apply.

We typically set up in about an hour, but this can vary depending on the event size. Rest assured, we'll be ready to rock your event on time!

Rival Kings have various options but you can expect most bands to offer either 2 x 45 or 2 x 60min sets.

The intervals are usually around 30 minutes long but this can be longer to suit your requirements on the day.

This is completely up to you and your schedule on the day. For evening events, we find it's often best to start the band at around 8-9pm, but this is purely a guide.

Yes, we'll learn one special song for free! Whether it's for your first dance or to end the night on a high note, just let us know a few months before the event.

You're welcome to send over a list of your favourite songs from the bands repertoire and the band will try to include these in their set.

Absolutely! We provide music via an iPod/iPad between sets, usually a pre-mixed playlist. If you have specific songs in mind, feel free to create your own playlist, and we'll play it through our PA system.

Rival Kings will dress smart in shirt and trousers. Please refer to the style in our promotional videos and photos.

We request that the band is provided with free soft drinks throughout their stay at the venue and a meal, usually after they've set up. Rival Kings will leave for the event early-afternoon and will often arrive home early hours of the morning so a hot meal is always greatly appreciated.
